2 AFITT Takes on Český Krumlov
25. Juni 2025
A Day to Remember
What do you get when you send a group of curious, caffeine-fueled vocational students from HTL Traun across the border for a day in Český Krumlov? A lot of laughter, questionable selfies, and a few unexpected lessons.
The adventure began early, with sleepy faces and suspiciously large snack bags.
Arriving in Český Krumlov felt like stepping into a fairy tale - minus the dragons, but definitely not short on medieval towers and cobbled streets. The students explored the old town, armed with phones and a mission: find hidden spots, and take the most creative photos and selfies.
There were detours, of course. Some groups got “accidentally” lost in charming cafés or were mysteriously delayed near the riverside gelato stand. But everyone made it back to the castle viewpoint for a group photo - with a stunning view over red rooftops and the Vltava River.
By the time we returned to Linz, tired but buzzing with stories, one thing was clear: it had been more than just a school trip. It was a shared memory, a mix of history, humour, and a hint of chaos - just the way my students like it.
